Transferring to Goodwin

We know that the decision to change schools isn’t one you take lightly. With 50% of our students transferring from other colleges and universities*, Goodwin knows all the ropes of changing institutions. Our Admissions team will work closely with you to help make your transition as seamless as possible.

Here are a few things to keep in mind before getting started:

  • More than college credits can count. Students come to Goodwin having earned college-level credits at other institutions. However, courses previously taken as professional development, job training, volunteer work, and even personal experiences can count as credits.
  • Previous credits don’t disappear. With some exceptions, most of your credits never expire. Visit our transfer equivalencies page to learn more about what credits will likely transfer.
  • Transferring information from another institution is safe. Your transcript and personal information are protected no matter what.
  • We value your time. Our Admissions team can typically evaluate your prior learning in less than one business day.
