Stephen Campbell is an extraordinary individual who grew from his role as a part-time lab technician to an assistant professor at Goodwin University. While completing his B.S. in Manufacturing Management, from Goodwin University in the summer of 2020 Stephen also completed a workshop in (UDL) Universal Design for Learning. Through attending this workshop Stephen learned best practices for delivering content across a wider range of the student body. In his position as an assistant professor, he contributes to students becoming professionally trained in advanced manufacturing particularly (CNC) Computer Numerical Control Machining. Stephen believes that the way content is delivered and designed will shape how learners receive and retain the required knowledge to satisfy course outcomes. He can recognize some of the learning barriers while connecting with the student’s experiences and implementing best practices for designing a meaningful course with clear pathways to learning the necessary content.
