IDA 120 and 088, CAP 110, COM 101
I started my career as a middle school Social Studies teacher. Over the years I have had the opportunity to expand my expertise by teaching and designing curriculum in multiple subjects including Social Studies, Math, Language Arts, Reading, Computers, Character Development, Journalism, and Gifted and Talented and Enrichment Education. In particular, I value any educational experience that allows students to the opportunity to learn and think creatively and across the disciplines. In 2014 I made the transition to adult and higher education which has proven to be especially invigorating. The opportunity to help adults identify and pursue their goals is very rewarding to me.
I am presently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Hartford.
When I’m not teaching my passions include anything creative (I enjoy painting, cooking, and cross stitching), traveling, and gardening. My favorite place in the world is the beach.

I firmly believe that students will be most inspired and eager when they understand how education can better their lives and help them to achieve their goals.
