Nancy Clark, a graduate of Goodwin’s associate degree in Nursing program who is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Nursing online, speaks highly of Goodwin’s faculty. Her online art history instructor, Ann Finateri-Laist, made a lasting impact.
“I thoroughly enjoyed her class and her personal interactions with all of us throughout the course. She has those special qualities and an obvious love of teaching,” Clark noted.
As a full-time nurse, taking online classes is the only way Clark is able to continue her education. Originally she was wary of online courses due to lack of physical interaction, but after taking Professor Finateri-Laist’s class she feels differently.
Clark took the time to write a personal thank you letter to Finateri-Laist. “When I get a letter from one of my patients about how happy they were with the care I had given them, it makes me realize that I made the right career choice.” It appears as though Professor Finateri-Laist made the right career choice as well.
