At Goodwin, her work has included the development of the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) degree program and the redesign of the RN-to-BSN program. Dr. Friday has served on the Faculty Senate, Institutional Review Board, faculty evaluation committee, academic affairs committee, and promotions committee. She was a 2020 cohort member of the Goodwin’s Leadership Education and Development program and is a Universal Design for Learning teaching fellow.

University leadership is enthusiastic about the talents that Dr. Friday brings to NHP, its programs, and its students.
“I’m delighted with this appointment,” said Goodwin president Mark Scheinberg, “Our healthcare offerings have long been among our leading flagship programs, so it was critical to find the right combination of academic experience and personal investment in our students. Vivienne is truly one of the most caring educators I have worked with and is dedicated to positioning students for success in their careers.”
“Dr. Friday is the consummate nursing and health educator,” added Goodwin provost Dr. Michal Pardales. “She brings a tremendous level of experience in leadership, curriculum development, accreditation, and an entrepreneurial spirit that will help move the mission of Goodwin forward.”
