At the annual meeting of the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce, Goodwin College president Mark Scheinberg was recognized as the 2016 East Hartford Business Person of the Year. To commemorate the occasion, Senator Steve Casano presented an official state citation reading, in part, “Your accomplishments as president of Goodwin College have had a tremendous impact on East Hartford and the surrounding towns. We thank you for all you do. The entire membership extends its very best wishes on this memorable occasion and expresses the hope for continued success.” Goodwin College is extremely proud of this recognition and renews its commitment to serve as a responsible and involved member of the community.
