The Goodwin College Community Engagement Committee in partnership with the East Hartford Library will present a free screening of The Lego Movie on Friday, September 11, at 7 p.m. in the College auditorium at One Riverside Drive, East Hartford. The story follows an ordinary guy named Emmet (Chris Pratt), who is mistaken for the Master Builder, the one who can save the universe. With the aid of an old mystic (Morgan Freeman), a tough young lady (Elizabeth Banks), and Batman (Will Arnett), Emmet fights to defeat the evil tyrant Lord Business (Will Ferrell), who is bent on destroying the universe. Before the movie, children and their families are welcome to join in a Lego activity hour beginning at 6 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase. Admission is free, and the public is welcome.
