Pratt & Whitney, Bike Walk Connecticut, Goodwin College, American Eagle Federal Credit Union, and the Town of East Hartford encourage you to bike or walk to work on Thursday, May 21, 2015. It’s easier than you think! Enjoy the beautiful spring weather and get some exercise by walking or biking to work. Breakfast will be provided in front of the Goodwin College Community Garden, 347 Main Street, from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. The event will also include information from CT Rides and CT Transit on alternative transportation options. A local bicycle shop will be on hand to answer bicycle commuting equipment questions. There will be free safety items for attendees.
