Goodwin College has received national recognition for the integrity of its individualized and engaging education. As an institution whose primary goals are based on student success and satisfaction, Goodwin College has been named one of the renowned Colleges of Distinction for 2019-2020.
Goodwin earned its recognition for the excellence exhibited in the classroom, incorporating High-Impact Practices throughout every student’s education. The student-centered culture includes Universal Design for Learning, expert faculty, internship programs, career-oriented programs, an academic excellence center, flexible class schedules, hybrid and online class formats, and six class start dates a year.

Colleges of Distinction’s selection process consists of detailed interviews and research for each institution’s student experience, retention efforts, general education programs, career development, strategic plan, student satisfaction, and more. Schools are accepted on the basis that they adhere to the Four Distinctions: Engaged Students, Great Teaching, Vibrant Community, and Successful Outcomes.
“We believe that Goodwin is on track to be a true leader in academic innovation and career readiness,” said Provost Danielle Wilken. “Our faculty members and support staff invest themselves wholeheartedly in making the educational experience as deep and meaningful as possible for our students.”
